I really do not know much about the provenance of this sleeved cloak. It came from an estate of a woman who collected textiles from her travels throughout Africa & the Middle East, during the 50s-70s. If I were to guess, I'd say this is Middle East in origin. Nice weight linen, with black cotton piping & lining. Has one hook closure at the neck & is open front. Huge pointy hood, for extra witchy goodness. Two slits for pockets so, perhaps this was meant as an overcoat. The sleeves were taken in at some point & can be let out. Very interesting piece, indeed. Freshly laundered & ready to wear.
Issues: Overall very sturdy condition. Some marks on the surface of the cloak. Otherwise no holes, tears, snags to note.
