40s side button/zipper, rayon, greige color, slacks. These pants came from an estate of a woman whose grandmother (last photo) had worked as a midwife in Texas, from the late teens-40s. Because of this, I believe that all the garments retrieved from this estate were all handmade. If this is the case, the woman was an incredible seamstress! These are highly coveted pants in a nice neutral beige tan color. Chocolate raspberry buttons on the side with a Talon metal zip. Two pockets at the hip & flattering pleating at the waist. Belt loops are all functional. Perfect addition to your collection, for everyday wear. Freshly laundered & ready to wear. Modeled photos show accurate color representation.
Issues: Overall very sturdy condition. There are some marks here & there along with a few areas of discoloration, from what appears to be bleach, as seen in photo # 8. There are two teeny holes forming the slacks, example in photo # 9. There are two mends on the back of the slacks, seen in photos # 10 & 11. A tear is forming by one of the buttons but seems mostly stable. No other holes, tears, snags to note.
