Early to mid 40s black crepe blouse jacket. Could work as a blouse, or layered as a jacket. Incredible seamstressing & structure. Tailored shoulders with shoulder pad tufts to create a stream lined look. Shirring on shoulders. Great U shape sleeve details at the wrist (see photos). Drapey peplum design below the waist. Really captures a dark deco vibe ála Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger. This was from the collection of a really cool lady who lived in France through out her 20s-30s. She bought this during her time there. Dry cleaned & ready to wear.
Issues: Overall very sturdy condition. A hole has formed where the hook & eye closure was. It was repaired & a new eye was put in. Otherwise great wearable condition. Any discoloration is from shadows.
