Late 30s, early 40s black, satin-y, rayon dress. The fabric is so interesting! It’s a satin rayon with an embroidered chain link design, all over. Almost reminiscent of cloqué. Four inches of smocking at the waist. Cool, structured buttons. Nice puffed sleeve details. One breast pocket. No label. No belt. Pulls on overhead with no closures. Freshly laundered & ready to wear.
Issues: Overall very sturdy condition. There is a pinhole here & there but nothing major. Some wear to the buttons. Smocking in great shape.
